I'd half-forgotten just how powerful HyperCard + Apple Events + program linking was for making nifty little network-enabled programs.

But program linking over IP doesn't seem to work. 'answer program' lets me put in an IP address and then it shows the programs on that Mac, but what it returns is useless “*::HyperCard”. No machine address.

Is there any way to get that to work? Or is it non-IP only?

And here we go! Even updated the Hat-o-matic so you can choose the number of names to draw. Couldn't get AddMotion to work though, so no animation this time round.
