After watching this episode, I have been diving into figuring out why Skynet can't just send technology back in time on purpose in order to kickstart the technological advances early.
Why is the "big bad" Scottish mimetic polyalloy bot scraping around trying to find whatever bits and pieces of destroyed terminators that she can, when Skynet could have just posted the bits and pieces she is after to her directly?
In the films, it's clear that certain limitations have been put on what can or cannot travel back in time in order to prevent the robots sending back advanced bombs, for example.
The arbitrary nature of what can or cannot be sent back, in the films, does seem to purely be based on "that isn't allowed because that would make the robots over-powered and unrealistic to be able to defeat"
In this TV show, however, it is shown that Skynet is able to get a leg up through technology that can be sent back in time.
And so, it kinda makes no sense for them to not do this deliberately, instead of having a rogue bot scrapping around for whatever bits and pieces she can find from the kill bots.
It must be pretty hard to write time travel stories and not run into plot holes, though, I guess.

In this episode the undercover killer robot and the fugitive leader of the resistance John Connor both coincidentally have the same therapist.
That's the plot and I am here for it.
I don't want action scenes. That's boring. I want see the killer robot and "chosen one" protagonist go to therapy.
