Sorry to see the Bygone team have drawn stumps. They had a superb innings and I wish them well in whatever they do next. Their blogs are archived here: bygoneliverpool.wordpress.com/

Inside the Shore Road and pumping stations for the Mersey Railway tunnel. Unfortunately the lighting and presentation style make it hard to get an overall view of layout and structure. @edfarrell youtube.com/watch?v=CwkP6Ffo9x

Super upgrade to Liverpool Record Office digital access, e.g. George's Dock images in the City Engineer's archive liverpool.access.preservica.co

My preso on George's Dock from Saturday's inworld conference remains temporarily online with the fun bit starting around 1:18:00. Contextual intro from 1:11:00. The camerawork by Marcus is ace.

As ever the preso was under-rehearsed for which I guess I should apologise although I'm doubtful that practice would have helped overly.

On the upside this was the first time I'd used a HUD-based rezzer and I thought that generally went OK.

Watercolour; speculative reconstruction of Liverpool as it would have looked in 1675. The small town - with it's soon to be demolished castle - was standing on the cusp of monumental change
