This year's #LivingPlanetReport paints a dismal picture for many of the world's species.

Populations of more than 5,200 species surveyed plummeted by an average of 69 percent between 1970 and 2018.

Losses were attributed to #ClimateChange and the disruption of habitats for such land uses as agriculture.
