The second Living Sacrifice album (Nonexistent, 1992) went in a completely different direction, dropping the Slayer influence in favor of death metal, sounding quite a bit like early Obituary. The vocal style is a poor impression of Slowly We Rot. The singer sounds like a bear getting tased in balls. I assume there are actual "lyrics" attached to these tortured yowls, but only God (Jesus) knows what they are. It's worth a listen.

Currently listening through the Living Sacrifice catalog. They are a Christian metal band that formed 34 years ago. Their first album (self-titled) from 1991 is pure Slayer worship. It's not terribly original, but it is surprisingly well done and definitely an enjoyable listen for old-school thrash/Slayer fans.

The lyrical cringe level is probably equal to Slayer, just with a different, uh, flavor. Not that lyrics matter much here.
