Living for over 30 years of my life in the big city and capital of the state, to now moving way out in the boondocks with my woman has been a dramatic culture shock. Stores aren't open 24 hours 'round these parts, the only exception being the odd gas station that's an extra 15 - 20 miles down the road. It has brought to light the damage that city living does to the psyche and the healing is taking longer than expected.
