Just learnt a fantastic story during my footpath survey of an old 75 metre right of way used by Thaw Cottage and Ty Newydd (it’s not!) to fetch water from the well. It’s been a disaster doing rights of way surveys today. Not only was the rain torrential, but the routes were in poor condition and/or blocked. Let’s hope the next set are better!
