The old #Theddingworth railway signal box and small station building are now in someone's garden. Apparently this was on a branch line from #Stamford to #Rugby. Opened in 1850 and closed in 1966. We can see the rail embankment from where we're staying. #LNWR

Note to self. DO NOT plan to get a #LNWR train home which calls additionally at Wembley Central, during the current engineering work on #LO.
Busiest train that I've been on for a while.

The gamble in today's train roulette failed.

After my planned train failed at Apsley, it was then a toss-up whether to get the slower #LondonOverground or wait it see if the next #LNWR actually stopped. On the slower train which is arriving at #Euston 4 mins after the faster one which did stop in the end!

That 'result' feeling when you arrive at Euston expecting to be on the #LondonOverground slow train and the #LNWR services have just begun stopping at Harrow again. Should be home 25 mins earlier than expected!
