Okay maybe I just think that that's a truly great idea having paid for over 10 years and JUST YESTERDAY getting a letter from MOHELA saying that they'd accept 112 of my payments leaving only 8 until forgiveness. I paid the principal off a couple of years ago so my current payments are for interest on the interest.

Had a teacher friend respond to a post on FB saying that Biden's #loanforgiveness is illegal. It's literally a #coupon for many! It would put me back at what I actually owed with my 6% interest. That's higher than my mortgage for reference.

I am deeply annoyed at all the roadblocks being put up against student loan forgiveness in the US. I shouldn't be surprised. The waste of money going to the law machine feels is a slap in the face to the People. Who could really use some help right now.
