@lj Agreed! I'm an #ambivert but, even so, find cons to be both exhilarating and exhausting all at once. With the rush of energy swirling around the venue, it's no wonder ppl have a tendency to try to cram as many panels / events as possible into their rosters.🤣 That's so true about #lobbycon! Even so, I have to remind myself to slow down & take some downtime in between panels to recharge. Lunch & dinner breaks are good for that, too. Same goes for after-parties but only if they're chilled.😀
Caught up with some colleagues I haven't seen in a while at #shmoocon #lobbycon yesterday. Also met with some others who have ties to specific conferences - namely, BlueTeamCon, BSides Orlando, and BSidesLV. Also met @rayredacted for the first time and gained some insight on how to improve the on-demand course that I run every now and then. (Speaking of, if he pays attention to this space, I'm willing to engage in further dialogue regarding the aforementioned on-demand training.)
@taladrane sweet. I don’t have a ticket but also I’ve never been disappointed with #LobbyCon.
@SheHacksPurple Seriously, though... if you live fairly close, a lot of people usually just show up for #shmoocon #lobbycon. Due to co-works or #infosec friends' changes in plans, you can usually find someone with a spare barcode.
