Although full figures are not yet available it would be extraordinary and unprecedented for it to be more than a half in which did not coincide with a . The official line is that just 14,000 registered voters were definitely unable to vote on 4th May 2023 in the in . This amounts to 1 in 400; so not a significant problem to worry about - what David Cowling called "nonsense on stilts". This finding appears also to be welcomed in an official press release from the Department of Levelling Up - which again suggests that there was no significant as a result of the requirements for .
