Woke up to a big reticulated rat #snake under the laundry.
Also called copperhead racer or ular rusuk kerbau in #Malay. It means ‘cow’s rib’ - not sure why.
Not venomous, but she sure is fierce! Faced us head on when we got near, like a boxer.
Plenty of them around here. I made a little #intaglio print of one awhile back, titled after the Malay proverb ‘melangkahi ular’ - to step over a snake, i.e to do something dangerous.
