A file system should have concurrent writes so editing can occur offline + multiple authorized users can edit without issue. We achieve this using cryptrees that give every file and folder a unique key.

But what if two valid writes need to be consolidated? Fission's WNFS will merge them both by creating a directory that has both changes while also linking back to the previous data. We leave it up to each app developer to determine how to do merges. #localfirstsoftware https://buff.ly/45oJQ9p
