One bad surprise though, the footbridge from visitor centre to the east bank of is closed : that implies a detour including 3 km on a busy road, and (and tourists) are not getting better at ...

I've made a note about that closure on , doesn't have the footpath not bridge at all, so they're unaffected! ;)

One route that seems doable and enjoyable for us is ferry from to , then road-cycle 42km to , stopping there for the night (BnB, recommendations?), in the morning cycle up the road (300m↑, 10km) to and then take the forestry road to (21km, probably a lot of up and down). From there, there are 2 trains back to at 5pm ad 7pm.
