The main weakness demonstrated here isn't the mechanical back-up, though. It's the electronic part, which quite obviously uses a microcontroller-driven solenoid.

The #LockPickingLawyer has a bunch of past videos on the subject of electronic locks whose weakness is the solenoid, and the bypass is a simple magnet.

All of those "hackers" on the telly using laptops with ribbon cables just need magnets in real life. (-:
