Last summer, I "discovered" #amapiano, a beat and culture centered in South Africa, with a growing global audience. There are many flavors and interpretations; the common denominator is the beat—it's fat, it *rolls, and is usually made with an electronic #logdrum and other instruments. You don't have to understand a thing about #amapinao to enjoy it.
