Not sure how to correctly ask this question. So let me start with this.
Imagine you have a bunch of collected log files in slightly different formats, and you want to analyze them to figure out things like what happened, when it happened, and for how long it was happening. Good visualization would also be helpful.
(No need to have a monitoring, just an analysis part)
What tools would be an adequate choice for that kind of stuff?

Damit meine ich nicht von google bereitgestellte tools, sondern ein selbst erstelltes Framework, was möglichst viele Protokollierungs- und Auswertungsmöglichkeiten von log-files der Serverprozesse beinhaltet. Danke schonmal im Voraus!

I need to #compress a lot of #logfile's, so, again, tested #pbzip2 #lbzip2 #lzip #xz #pixz #pigz and #zstd.
The current winner for time/size race was "lzip -7" (which is same as plzip -7, uses all threads available). #Compression rate slightly below pixz but it's hugely faster (also has better fileformat 😉).
May have been some zstd only if it would be simple to figure out the right combo of 22 options.
