One of the options we're looking at is buying an old log house and fixing it up.

Here's a good example of what that would look like. This one's from 1953, taken back to the bare bones inside, new double-glazed windows fitted, floors dug out and sewage pipes installed, ready for a new floor.

These usually have few structural interior walls, so you can change the layout with relative freedom. This example has one.

Moving servers so time for a new post!

Camping is my life, my wife and I go in our about 30-40 times a year, mostly in the .

Living in since 1989, we took 2 years to build our own in 1992 which we still live in today.
