This is the #SlipperySlope fallacy, writ large. The GOP and their mouthpieces use it masterfully, and they get away with it because tens (hundreds?) of millions in this country have no ability to recognize nor inclination to avoid #LogicalFallacies.

The patterns are well-defined. I mean how hard would this be to build this into TV News shows also?

@Dianora When you learn multiple logical fallacies and modes as a part of critical thinking it will inculcate humility no? You have to see that each of those techniques usually lead to different answers and therefore there are multiple answers to any question. To take away certitude from critical thinking techniques is incoherent and really not doing them right
