Statt #Abos, #Paywall & #Loginwall sollten auch traditionelle Modelle Lösungen wie #Patreon, #Kachingle, #Flattr & Co. nutzen oder einen genauso bequemen #Einmalkauf anbieten wie die Printausgabe.

Also #digital konsequent billiger als #print mit der Option auf #Einzelkauf der #Artikel - natürlich alles #DRM-frei als #ePub & #PDF!

Whenever you scrolled down if you were not logged in...and suddenly a #LoginWall appeared, could you press an "x" to make it go away?

I've just found an "x" button you can press to close it down.

Was this always there or was my attention to details not as good as I thought it was?(I certainly missed an "x" button to allow me to close it down).

Was it there before or did they add it?

What I like about #Mastodon is that when I wanna read posts I don't have to be greeted by a #LoginWall

@abellware yeah, that's pretty useless since it's behind a #Microsoft364 / #AzureAD #loginwall...

Leider lese ich immer weniger Schweizer Presseerzeugnisse, weil der Link von Twitter oder Mastodon häufig direkt in eine #Loginwall oder #Paywall führt. Löbliche Ausnahme ist die @RepublikMagazin, wo man verlinkte Artikel ohne Login lesen kann.
