Meanwhile even live-action #LoisAndClark and #Smallville took several seasons to get Lois and Clark's relationship as far as My Adventures with Superman has in three episodes. The relationship is the focus of the show, not Clark keeping his identity secret from everyone including Lois. 👍🏽

The 2nd half of L&C is similar to #SupermanAndLois, where Lois not only knows Clark is Superman, has not only married him but also had kids with him. L&C had a brush w/ that maturity. S&L leans into it.

In 1993. #DeanCain played a #ClarkKent who wasn't the goofy disguise from the #ChristopherReeve #RichardDonner movies. Clark in fact was the full person; #Superman was the public facade he created to protect his identity.

The latter is grittier, more realistic in a way, but it also as far-out superheroics. L&C ran four seasons, getting campier as it went. S&L has maintained its tone for its three seasons. S&L is the better show in that regard.

Teri kind of demurred and said the shows had different tones. The classier move would've been simply to compliment S&L and move on.
