This is a really great scene! (also, apparently i'm being rate limited by my own instance so this is probably it for tonight (and the episode is basically over anyways))
Good job tenzin. Nobody is perfect and even teachers can learn from their students.
Sir, i would very much like to see where this rule is stated. Also, you can't just make rules up in the middle of a match.
Ah, there's our calm, collected Airbending master.
You can't tell me that's not intentional. Now I need to know what that guard did to the other one (the one giving the spit-take) to deserve it.
Great job there Korra. You're even the one that brought up only bending one element.
This is why people aren't allowed to just walk on to sports games.
I'm sorry, what's up with that leg? Yo, someone check to make sure korra's got some bones in her body.
This is actually good advice considering SHE'S NEVER BEEN IN A PROBENDING MATCH BEFORE AND SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THE RULES.
So I don't know the source for this, but based on the lighting, it looks like possibly photos/scans taken from a book with some glossy paper?
Apparently this is something official based on the reddit thread that got me to it, but the reddit OP just said they "found it somewheres on the internet".
I don't see anything about "You can only bend a single element" in these rules......
Technically true, but I don't imagine there's a rule yet that each team member can only bend one element.
I really want to see the rules for pro-bending. Rabbit hole, away!
It's not cheating if there's not a rule against it. Theoretically she could be a one person team.
Uh, Korra? There's more to a sport than just the basics. Just because you can hit a ball with a stick doesn't mean you can walk on to the MLB, even in the 1920s.
Maybe also have an actual relationship with her? you know, get to know the Person Kora, not just Avatar Kora.
Tenzin- My very essense has been destroyed.
Jinora - Uh, Korra, Whatcha doing there?
Ikki - Ugh, i'm going to have to fix this aren't I
Melo - huh?
Temper temper.
Also, I love how they originally gave Katara the hair loopies because they wanted to reduce the amount of animation work and then they're like "make all the hair move!" and then in LoK, they're like, "fuck it, Korra get braids that Katara was supposed to have"
So korra can make quick adjustments in earthbending, but not airbending. got it.
