You're going to see a lot of #LOLMets regarding the Carlos Correa non-deal but I'm not pining for him. The aversion to risk is exactly why players get checked out before a deal. The Mets decided, just like the Giants did, not to take the risk. And Correa was presented with a higher salary by the Twins for the next six years, so he took it. I wish Correa and the Twins luck. No harm no foul.

their starting pitcher was *dealing* and just wrecking shop on the #sfgiants. after an error and a should-have-been-an-error by other players, he gets pulled with 74 pitches (in the 7th!), and the relief pitcher gives up a 2 run double on the first pitch.

like, that relief pitcher was the correct choice. putting in *anyone else than the starter* was a dumb choice.

even the opposing commentators were like "wtf is this, he's doing great!"
