2am theory. I think all our dreams of flying come from deep-seated, distant memories of when we were fish. Back then, we drifted effortlessly through the water, just like we'd love to through the air.

, when i was a child of 5 or less. My grandpa, Pachu, would improvise for me. The stories featured the same , a chinese kid named Chancle. There wasn't anything overtly Chinese about Chancle, he was a regular kid, except he went on adventures all over the world. I dont remember details of the specific stories, but i remember the sense of wonder at how much there was to do in the world and how a kid from so far away was so much like me.
