Background, for folks who may not know: I wrote my first novel, #ParallelLines, in Obsidian, partially in public, with folks following progress live, online, via @ObsidianPublish.

I enjoyed it, but missed certain features of #Ulysses, especially when it came time to compile and publish the book.

The #LongFormPlugin and #Pandoc seem to address those deficits, so I'm eager to write another book in an environment I enjoy.

It offers a great overview of a structure and a set of plug-ins #writers can use for both long- and short-form writing in #Obsidian, plus insights into how the #LongformPlugin works with #Vellum.

It convinced me to drop plans to write _Fixed_, my next #novel, in Ulysses, and to write and compile in #Obsidian instead.
