I am a disabled mom of 5 kids. I have #EhlersDanlosSyndrome and #POTS. I am a #disability advocate.

My "day job" (although it's a volunteer position) is as a co-organizer of #LonghornPHP. I am a "baby developer" who's just learning to code, but I absolutely LOVE the #PHP community. It's like a big family!

When not conference organizing, I enjoy reading, #karaoke, and crafts (including #Crocheting , #CrossStitch , and #LoomKnitting).

@gunnard BTW, it was great to meet you at #LonghornPHP! Hope to see you again at another conference.

I should specify that the uneven pavement wasn't at #LonghornPHP itself. It was at some janky restaurant in Austin that had both sushi and a mariachi band (we still haven't figured out exactly what was going on there 🤣).

Like I said in my intro post, one of the things I love most about the #PHP community is that it's like a big family. I feel like I have a lot of (sometimes annoying) big brothers who have made me feel welcome since the very first conference I attended. When I tripped on some uneven pavement at #LonghornPHP last weekend, and severely sprained my ankle, I had an entire group of those "brothers" taking care of me and asking after me. It was nice to feel so loved!
