@ChrisMayLA6 @Judeet88 Poignant observation. We are very much lacking an institution for long term thinking. To foster awareness and skills for long term planning in schools; and with retroactive veto power over laws when these show net negatives on the climate over the long term.

I've been waiting nearly a year to get this done, having asked him to appear at his #LongNow talk last March. We had to cancel three times, twice for weather-related reasons, the other a personal issue. When it came to the fourth attempt I had a major technical issue and had to switch to Zoom at literally the last minute - which unfortunately impacted the sound quality somewhat. The content, though, is fabulous! Should be out in a couple days.

There are three kinds of people in life. Those who think things are getting worse, those that think things are getting better, and those that just work like hell on making things better. Johanna Hoffman is in that third group, and here she is in two amazing talks to introduce her worldview and her vital work.
