For right or wrong, I feel a little better about criticizing what I think needs fixing with my country having already served it. I also think #LongTermTravel gives me perspective (also gained via deployments) about the good in other countries.

One great way to go out to eat in #Spain is to order the #MenúDelDía. It’s kind of like primi and secondi piati in #Italy but much cheaper. In #Madrid, we’ve been having a drink (beer, coffee, water), an appetizer, a main, and a dessert (which I usually pass on) for between €12-14. #LongTermTravel
