I have seen several versions of this concept over the years. They build on the concept of #Consensus and mean we wouldn't be made to feel we are 'throwing' the election to the worst of the worst by voting for the best candidate no matter how famous or #corporate backed they might be.

In #beekeeping, I quickly learned the difference between scenting and fanning. They can look the same to the unaccustomed eye. The big giveaway for scenting, though, is the cracking open of the last segment of the bee's body that releases the Nasonov pheromone.
