Oh — and there are also infusers that fit within a cup or mug if you prefer to drink a smaller amount of tea — functionally, these infusers act as a tea bag but allow you to use unbroken leaves (which do take a bit longer to brew).

I switched to tea few years ago, and I am fortunate in having an excellent tea store locally, Murchies.com.

I highly recommend using loose tea, which generally uses larger leaves (tea bags tend to use fannings — basically tiny pieces of broken leaves, aka "dust".

You can get teapots with infusers that hold the tea leaves and can be lifted from the pot when the brewing is finished, leaving the brewed tea in the pot.
