2 days. 2 more days to cross this, cursed wasteland. To traverse what used to be a country. In the before times. Now nothing more than a barren wilderness - home to nothing bigger than mouse or bird. & ghosts. The #loquacious spirits of the Red Shields could be heard at night, patrolling roads they couldn't keep safe during life, calling out their curses. Still wearing the armour of an earlier time.

The living did not use the roads in this land.

Still in a daze from seeing his companions slaughtered, Kane barely noticed the approaching knight in time to hide. As he got closer, the loquacious knight could be heard having a lively discussion - nay, argument - with his horse. Had riding in this barren landscape driven him mad? Kane decided it wasn't worth the risk to find out, and remained hidden until the rider was well out of earshot.

Tired of watching the street lights wiz by, Abbey looked around the bus. There were only three other people on board now. A middle aged black man leaned his head back, lightly dozing in his seat. Two Hispanic teens stared intently at their phones, desperate to avoid eye contact with one another. No one was feeling loquacious, sensing an unknown danger.

loquacious

loquaciously adverb

Poets have used poetic license, stretched its meaning to include such things as the chattering of birds and the babbling of brooks. In less poetic uses, loquacious usually means "excessively talkative." The ultimate source of all this chattiness is loqui, a Latin verb meaning "to speak."
