I beleive they'll do more than try - part the reason #starmer is so shy about policy on #EU & traditional #left causes is the burning urgency to clean up #politics - now terribly soiled by the entire post-2016 era, by #bigDog in particular - we cannot rely on a #decentChaps assumption when the #kipperTories are so obviously a nasty, dirty bunch of #populists appealing to the worst instincts at the more debased end of the electorate

Well we will see - I suspect #PR is that combination of highly disruptive to the political classes and not that important to the common man that makes it hard to get on the agenda - for any term.

At least we have #lordsReplacement on the agenda now - that is a start

The current #labourLeadership seem risk-averse - unsurprising after 5 electoral defeats

I expect as we move closer to the #nextGE and publication of a #manifesto that the direction will become clearer.

Promising the unattainable - like #rejoin within a single term - is not a vote winner but actually puts people off.
