The tester said not only had he never seen someone do what I did with a #lorry in a reverse test, but that he, personally, didn't even know it was possible to do that in a lorry before he saw me do it. If he'd been asked before hand, he'd have said it wasn't possible. #AchievementsInIgnorance, I guess.
It isn't like I ever did anything the conventional way anyway.

I finally passed my #lorry reverse test. More by luck than judgement, and definitely by taking a leaf out of the #LegendsOfTomorrow playbook of #ScrewingUpForTheBetter, but a pass is a pass.
However.
It took all my lessons to do it. I have six months to find another several grand for another set of lessons for my on the road test. I was improving on that too, but not quick enough. I don't know what I'm going to do. #Driving #LifeWoes

Swedish truck manufacturer Scania is far from the only company developing autonomous vehicles, but it has the distinction of being the first in Europe to pilot them while delivering commercial goods.
In the pilot project, the self-driving truck is covering a stretch of some 300 km between Södertälje and Jönköping in the south of Sweden, delivering fast-food goods.
