A few of us have experience. I've made a font for #Dhadakha—the writing system for #Lortho—and I know others have had success with other programs. I used GlyphrStudio which is completely online, but it does have a little bit of a learning curve. In essence, you need to map the new glyphs to the existing keyboard layout of your choice.

I have two conlangs:
#Lortho [ˈloɾ.tʰo], an Indo-Iranian-inspired agglutinating language with #VSO word order and 10 grammatical cases. I created a LTR, horizontal #writingsystem that is used solely to write Lortho inspired by Tibetan, Devanagari, and Tengwar.
#Dhakhsh [ðæxɕ], a Germanic-inspired analytic language with #SOV word order. I created a vertical, top-to-bottom, RTL writing system used solely to write Dhakhsh inspired by Mongolian, Pahlavi, and Avestan.

3. The word tridenu
tridenu [tɾi.ˈdɛ.nu] n. fem. : arthropod; some reaching the size of an average human ribcage
I know very little about the flora and fauna of Kus (the home planet on which the Lorthoans live). I know only that this is an arthropod and my gut tells me it’s terrestrial.
2. The word bekhesh-
bekhesh [bɛ.ˈkʰɛʃ] adj. : 1. messy, dirty, soiled; 2. forbidden, unspeakable, e.g. bekheshu mathu “forbidden tongue”
I had no idea there was such a thing; so this discovery was indeed a surprise. I do not know to what language this refers and I am left with pure speculation at the moment. I can’t wait to discover it!
In reviewing my #Lexember entries for 2022, three #Lortho words stood out to me. A thread:
1. The suffix -tha.
Until last month, there was only one word with this suffix:
kansaptha [kan.ˈsap.tʰa] n. neut. : forest
I knew it was related to kansapu (tree, n. fem.), but I didn't know how until this discovery:
dinaktha [di.ˈnak.tʰa] n. neut. : flock; see dinaku (bird, n. fem.)
It's still unclear whether -tha is reserved for feminine nouns
I also have breathy voiced consonants in #Lortho. I don't see this specific voice quality often in conlangs. I like it!
#Lexember Day 10
dinaktha [di.ˈnak.tʰa] n. neut. : flock, collective noun for birds; see : dinaku [di.ˈna.ku] n. fem. : bird
There are many word for specific birds in Lortho, but this is the first time I've seen a generic term for birds in general.
The -tha suffix is a collective marker, but I am unsure often it is used. It is seen with the word kansaptha "forest" from kansapu "tree."
Day 9
bekhesh [bɛ.ˈkʰɛʃ] adj. • 1. messy, dirty, soiled; 2. forbidden, unspeakable, e.g. bekheshu mathu: "forbidden tongue"
The second definition is quite interesting. What could be the "forbidden tongue?" This raises so many new questions. I wonder if it is either a daughter or sister language of a long lost culture. Perhaps this is in reference to #Dhakhsh, a language spoken by a distant nation known to be skilled at war. Must know more...

benkhat [bɛn.ˈkʰat, bɛŋ~] v. • wear, put on
Ex.:
[bɛn.ˈkʰad.ikʰ.ˌin ni.d̤o.ˈsi.ma.mɛ]
benkhad-ikh-in ni-dhosima-me
wear-PST.PFV-1MSG PN.1MSG.POSS-shoe.N-ACC
"I am wearing my shoe[s]."

#lexember 1 & 2
I made the word for sleep for #Lortho and #dhakhsh. They don't equate one-for-one, so I will expound later.
Although I did make a discovery: #Dhakhsh follows consonant harmony. All consonants in a word are either voiced or voiceless, but not mixed. An unintentional trend I just noticed.
