I wandered the dollar store today and saw some cute things! I picked them up for my partner and her headmate. One like red and the other likes orange. Plus, I grabbed cute hair pins that they both love.
I'm transmasc and was given a bunch of this kind of thing in my childhood, but my partner was never given anything like this. I want to spoil them in any of the ways that I can because #lostchildhood for #transgender folks sucks a lot.

We needed more band aids and I decided that my girlfriend and I could get cute ones. Picture below is mine. Hers is unicorn themed! I know she didn't get to have her childhood as a girl, but in any way that I can now, I want to give her those moments. Sometimes that means I hold her and reassure her and today that meant I bought us cute band aids tins! I deal with the lost childhood thing too, but it seems to hit differently for me. :blobcattrans:
