Last seen in 1929, Phruronellus pictus is the latest #lostspecies that our lab has discovered in searching for spiders around North America.

#RDLS Working with #grief and #feelings. My #artproject for our #heritagecenter: We work in a group on #artjournals with the topic #butterflies and #women, sharing materials and techniques. I give some materials, esp. a package of printed butterflies. The women are completely free how to use them. In the end, they'll learn that these all are regional #extinctSpecies.
