Our kin meetup we again had 4, started off with our usual Barad Guldur run with no Unwelcome Mat drops :( and somehow after stat crunch and update to fix problems it still seemed not like the past with more stuns, corruptions stacking faster, taking longer to kill mobs that seem tougher. Then we had 3 left and did Thaurisgar, the Vile Apothecary tier 1, not sure on stat changes, it was ok will try tier 2 next time. It was a fun night. :) #lotro

So, I've made myself a minstrel in #lotro - Been taking it real slow, not slotting any of the experience boosters. So far, so good! My only 😕 face is with the Virtue system. While it's definitely an improvement over the old version (where agility classes were running around killing all the undead), the new one is weird that you can't spread the experience out over multiple virtues.

Lotro now has #RiverHobbits.
I have River Hobbits. I love Hobbits and was excited to see River Hobbits introduced to the game. The more Hobbits the better!
What I really like about them, is the Irish red hair option and you can make them taller (Something hopefully they bring to all the other races soon)They have different features and are slightly more slender. Otherwise, just the same as any other Hobbit. How many times can one say Hobbit in a post.

@massivelyop And I must admit I quite of liked some of the lore-explained class/race restrictions that (used to) exist in #lotro.
I mean, dwarven burglars, that's something that shouldn't happen in Middle-Earth...

Me: OK, I've done the dishes, put up the laundry, and Mom's resting again. It's 10:30am, I'll log into #lotro for a minute and clean up my old shared storage.

I've got River Hobbits unlocked in #LOTRO now (I didn't want to do it until I'd finished this week's blog, because, distraction is bad enough without encouraging it).

Here's my first one and I'm really pleased with how she turned out. Kind of young, but I think more young woman than child-like. This race also has a height slider. Which makes me really hope they can do that for other races in the future.

So now that I've reinstated my #lotro account and reinstalled the game, when will I start quietly crying over how gorgeous it is and how much I have missed it?

I can't play LOTRO at night as I somehow can't concentrate on it. But I try to start most days with it before I do blog stuff. That way I do enjoy it before trying to "do stuff".
