I've got River Hobbits unlocked in #LOTRO now (I didn't want to do it until I'd finished this week's blog, because, distraction is bad enough without encouraging it).

Here's my first one and I'm really pleased with how she turned out. Kind of young, but I think more young woman than child-like. This race also has a height slider. Which makes me really hope they can do that for other races in the future.

I can't play LOTRO at night as I somehow can't concentrate on it. But I try to start most days with it before I do blog stuff. That way I do enjoy it before trying to "do stuff".

The #LOTRO Update 37 Release Notes are here - and they are HUGE.

The new River Hobbit packages are accessible **once you've logged in as a character ** not from the character selection screen. At least that was the case earlier.

This update sees Beorning and Guardian changes among other things.

I'm also trying to confirm the _actual_ start date of the Forester event as the official page says Friday, but on Tw'tr they posted today.

#LOTRO's Update 37 is out and the servers are up.

It includes the re-textured human hairstyles - the original ones before the new curly styles were added.

Apparently, style 24 onwards on female humans may be slightly bugged, FYI.

I wasn't on here yesterday as I was having a bit/lot of a coding nightmare that I finally found a solution for at 2am.

This is the Elven "HQ of Mordor Operations" for an easy way to explain it to non-LOTRO players.

I've finished a good portion of the Mordor story, but doing so unlocks dailies. I don't need any of the stuff as such, but my main character is close with the Elves so will stay until she's maximum reputation with Elven Mordor Ops group.

There are new outfits cosmetics, a new mount and new war-steed cosmetics too. I'll get everything up on my guide as soon as feasible and my cosmetics/mounts/pets databases all updated too.

[FYI] If you're a #LOTRO player, the Curator is around until day 1 of the Farmers Faire, which kicks off next Thursday.

There's a lot on offer with the Curator, especially as it seems the other Figments vendors have "new stuff" and "last visit's new stuff" now.

But cosmetics/mounts etc aren't lost, they end up in the Curator's stock instead.

Spend your Figments wisely! Or rashly, then replenish during the Faire!

I've had a combination day - partly coding for myself (for once) and partly gaming. Earlier I had a longish session in #LOTRO plodding through #Mordor (one can simply plod through Mordor).

I didn't take many shots because, even with my monitor on full brightness and in-game gamma at 1.1 it's still kinda hard to see anything a lot of the time.

Land of Shadow and all that.

Well, today's been a fight to do...well, anything. I've picked up another bug, apparently. But it's sent my #Fibromyalgia pain sky high.

I've sort-of managed some #LOTRO bits for the Curator updates and some bits for the Forester event. But I have an even worse attention span than normal and I've been really restless.

I hadn't banked on Bullroarer coming up so soon so that threw me off-plan straight away. But still..
