Maybe someone reading this may help me and/or boost.
A good friend of mine, who just turned 50, was diagnosed with ALS.
The drs prescribed a medicine for him but the insurance doesn't want to pay for it, saying he is not sick enough. (Diagnosed in oct and already on wheelchair).

My friend and his family can't afford the $157,000 yearly med.
Is there an org that helps pay for this? Does anyone know?
They live in South Dakota.
