@WinnipegLaur I somehow saw this. Huge #louisepenny fan. I actually met her Dec 2 when she did an event in Toronto.

So far, this has been my favorite episode of #ThreePines so far. They took the story and made it work within the TV show and still had it work. In some ways, the baddie was even better (better motivation) than the book (I know, terrible and I like this book).
I hope there's going to be more episodes and seasons.

As I was reading it, I thought, I would like to go back and start reading at book number one (Still Life). 🤔 Despite knowing which characters will die/be killed, I think I still may like to do that, while I eagerly await Number Nineteen. An early Christmas present for me from #Netflix 'Three Pines'.

Have enjoyed every book about Chief Inspector Armand Gamache & his team from the Quebec Surete since #LouisePenny wrote the first in 2005. But had to wait a year for each new one to be published. Now I can binge watch.

Among the best crime series I have read & highly recommended. The plots are not easily solved, the team has its own complex dynamics that develop, the people of Three Pines become familiar friends (or not) and you learn more about the French speaking parts of #Canada.

Now a TV serie, which cannot encompass the detail of the books although may be good entertainment. But will the characters live up to the way I imagined them ? Fingers 🤞 😁

Just found out #LouisePenny's #ArmandGamache TV adaptation series is starting next week! I'm so excited! I love the book series and I'm interested in how they adapted her wonderful books to screen. (And I'm stoked that i don't have to wait long because i just found out)
