Just an update for all of you.

I seem to be moving beyond my recent health chalenge with only the usual disability chalenges to deal with. I should be able to start doing some articles again soon.

My sudden loss of housing situation has also improved a bit but, there are still many things to overcome and many unknowns.

Thank you all for your support, solidarity and patience. It has made this experience a bit easier to deal with.

A song to my lethargic and gradual return with gratitude to all... Oh, and to resiliency.

Tony Iommi, guitarist for Black Sabbath lost one third of two fingers in an industrial accident. Doctors said he would not play again. Without his determination through disability, there would never have been a Sabbath.

What did he do? "...he melted down plastic bottles and shaped them into prosthetic fingertips, covered them with leather to provide grip, and secured his rock and roll legacy with his new appendages.".... Yes, his fretboard hand.

Bravo for this post. Ask the Rightligious Christian organization called "Sunday Breakfast Mission" and they would add isolation to the list.

One of their programs to "help" people that are poor, homeless and struggle with addiction requires participants to give up cell phones and have no contact with the outside world, including loved ones.

I guess it's easier to brainwash people that way.

Agreed!! Out of Exile - Invisible Disability Rights supports you. It takes all of us to stop hate regardless of the type.
