See you all there!
For the #lovebytetcc crowd, here is a direct link to the New Talent Competition part... you folks were amazing, what brilliant tiny demos you all made in #tic80 and #pico8 !
@jupiter @lovebyteparty Thanks a lot! 😊
I learned a lot of these effects from the recent #LoveByteTCC event, and I'd HIGHLY recommend it anyone at all interested in creating (and eventually "packing") these kinds of effects.
The site is still up and the videos are great to follow along with:

(no pressure tho - it's there if u need it 😉)
Last call for entries for tomorrows New Talent competition!
You've got until tonight, 23:59 UTC to submit your 256 byte fantasy console intro. Plenty of time to create something amazing!
If you need a votekey, you can DM us right here. And if you need just a tiny bit of extra time to finish your cool thing, just poke us and we'll see what we can do.
See you tomorrow! 💖
I was fascinated by the #DemoScene in ST/Amiga days.
I could probably still name a lot of the big ones... the era of Desert Dreams, State of the Art, Jesus on E's...
In December I joined in with #LovebyteTCC, a clear and welcoming set of guided tutorials for first steps in making demo effects, and now I've entered my own into a competition. Bucket-list territory for me 😄
Showcase is on Saturday. I think it'll be a fun watch if you're nerdcore.

601b without pakettic but too big to the 2nd challenge. 😩
So... you've made a lovely little intro for the LoveByte New Talent competition (or any other demo competition for that matter), but you're not quite sure how to properly *submit* it?
No worries, we've got you covered in this explainer video:
So we heared you liked short but sweet explainer videos...
... here is a little video explaining what next week's Getting Ready for Lovebyte stream is all about. 😎
Here is my day 11 of #lovebytetcc on #pico8
Didn't have much time today, so no size coding challenge.
I definitely need to take my time to experiment with the code, the results are awesome.
"Shadebob", apparently.
Was struggling to get it to 128 characters. Turns out it could be 256 for non-experts like myself. 😅
Well, here it is. 128 chars, simple pattern, no palette 😊
Here is my day 10 of #lovebytetcc on #pico8
I revisited the tunnel channel and made a proper one for today. I couldn't export the compressed cart tho 😅

On January the 14th, the New Talent competition is happening: a 256 byte intro competition targeted at newcomers (#lovebytetcc)
To submit your entries, you'll need to register at https://wuhu.lovebyte.party with a "votekey".
Ask for a votekey on discord or right here in a direct message! 💖
Just want to say how lovely https://tcc.lovebyte.party/ is. Super fun and noob-friendly way to play with classic demoscene effects #lovebytetcc
Here is my day 8 of #lovebytetcc on #pico8
Today's was a really fun one! Definitely pushing the limit on that pico8 CPU
