There's a good reason why Lower Calf Creek Falls hike is one of the most popular in Grand Staircase Escalante. Besides being relatively easy the 7 mile round trip trail winds its way through a scenic wide canyon following Calf Creek. What's not to love about a beaver pond and wetlands with water birds in the middle of the desert? Also a walk through geologic time dating to 175 million years ago.
