#Marsh in #Winter. This, again is at #OxleyNatureCenter, my prime focus area to help restore wetland systems, and improve people’s understanding of the importance of #Wetlands, #Floodplains, #Grasslands and #LowlandForests with #HydricSoils, and the importance of access to #Nature. We all need the #Solace of #Nature to help maintain balance. These systems are perfect habitats for overwintering #Birds. There are hundreds of birds in this photo, all hidden in the habitat. The habitat also includes #Waterfowl, #Hawks, #Woodpeckers, #Beaver, and #Muskrats along with #Deer, #Racoons, and #Coyotes. A walk here is like being in Nirvana with the lush sounds, sights and smells.
