Gotta constantly remember that "perfect is the enemy of good" when it comes to chores. Not that the chore should be done *sloppily,* but that I can do a small AMOUNT of it at a time instead of all at once.

Dishes are my kryptonite here.

It sucks being emotionally triggered by pain and sickness, because I’m so often in pain and sick.
It drives my anxiety through the roof, being not sure why I’m debilitated. And my doctor says there’s nothing she can do until I’m on meds for my mental health, which sucks because my mental health is definitely not the sole cause.
I wish I wasn’t scared of how little I know. Maybe I could fix things if I could just find the reason #disabled #lowspoons #undiagnosed

My completed spoon itinerary for today:
I most did large tasks today. I helped a friend with a final, went to the grocery store with a different friend (hugggggeee spoon take because I have to walk), fed myself, and even took a shower. I definitely need to take it easy tomorrow #lowspoons

Made potato nachos tonight and it was both simpler than I expected and very delicious. Definitely adding to my regular #cooking rotation.

Feels like a recipe that might be good for #lowSpoons days: it doesn't require a huge amount of time; it only uses a mixing bowl, a baking sheet, and some utensil to mix with; it can be done mostly sitting down; and it reheats well for easy leftovers later

So, as is my way... I've come around to the trend of like ten years ago and bought an Instant Pot on sale.

Friends, I need recipes that are suitable (or scalable) for one person, or that freeze well. No seafood or pork pls.

Here's the state of my travel palette after one sketch.

I used waterbrushes, which was an experiment with low spoon painting. But I think it make it much harder to keep the colors clean.

I'll try another few sketches using my regular brushes, see if that helps any.

I started a game of #TheBeast a while ago, but stopped after one of the prompts kinda ... broke my immersion? I think I might have gotten one of the narrative arc producing cards a bit early, before the situation/beast was well-established in my head.

I could totally see the potential even then, but then #lowspoons and real world and eh. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Could be fun to give it another try...
