@AlanyG21 @fuchsiii @foone So nothing but budget, time and soldering or at least layouting skills prevent one from slapping an #RM500Q onto an adaptor and roll withit.

In fact, there are #M2 adaptors for #ExpressCard made by #ThinkMods that do this, and personally I'd just take something like an #LTE-#USB Stick and wire it up to the USB lines...

Data compression for #LTE hasn't improved since first rolled out in 2009 or 5G #wifi since that test in 2019.
Also, Android is still open source at the OS level no matter the other tweaks, both #iOS and #Android have microphone indicators for when apps are listening, and we already voluntarily and knowingly give our devices so much info for the on-device learning to process. Listening to our conversations would be... impractical. As seen here:
