I don't understand the state of #LuaJIT dev. It stopped releasing a while back and should be in maintenance mode, yet enhancements are added to this day and projects like #neovim consciously adopt it and embed it.

Ich kann es kaum erwarten bis "Stone Kingdoms", ein freies, auf #Löve und #LuaJIT basierendes Projekt um #Stronghold plattformübergreifend spielen zu können, weiter fortgeschritten ist.

Es sieht bereits im jetzigen Zustand richtig gut aus und der stufenlose Zoom macht mich ganz närrisch. Ich will mehr!

@catgirl @grainloom I am afraid, that won’t happen. See #Neovim … they will never switch to slow Lua, and they will most likely stay with #LuaJIT forever.

I'm starting to suspect there's something wrong with #luajit on #FreeBSD, as both it's consumers I have, #minetest and #solarus, are crashing randomly on me, null pointer dereference each time in different place of juajit guts. I was terrified by discovering that it doesn't even have a testsuite. Try to write one in hope to reproduce the bug?
