Although, speaking of , given what I've heard about the anime adaptation of , which is by the same author, I would be very cautiously optimistic IF Spirit Circle were to get an anime.

I haven't watched Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer because I had already read the manga and I heard the animation was horrible for the anime. Out of the admittedly few manga I've read, Spirit Circle would be among the last ones I would want to have a bad adaptation.

Anime 22/24 -

This disappointed me so bad, and I have not yet read the to be disappointed to the same degree as a fan of the original work! The animation is laughable most of the time, and the pacing completely undermines the impact of the story beats.
There were moments that were good, but it just highlighted how badly the anime failed the source material.
