You might have heard of #lucinidClams . Beautiful white clams that can be found at the beach, in #seagrass beds, or in #mangrove roots. Lucinids also colonize the #deepsea (e.g., cold seeps, hydrothermal vents). We compared #symbiont genomic potential across environments & found mostly shared functions.
