Last night watched Das Schweigen am Starnbergersee, directed by #rolfraffe, who takes the story of #ludwigii and purges it of anything interesting. The opening is more a Wagner film, also stripped down. The one reason to watch is for the scene in which Raffe has Ludwig drown himself, sliding under the water in lower left frame. A confusing mix of real interiors naturally presented and rooms that are painted theatrical flats filmed outside for illumination from (too) blazing sunlight.
